The district near the city centre is not very visible to people and tourists, so I called it Ghost City.
There are many “J’existe” tags around the neighbourhood, and they made me think: if your district is semi-transparent, do you become semi transparent when you enter it? Do you need to say “I exist” louder? I also thought about a chair as a symbol of being present in a place and settling in. You can sit on it, stay for a while, and then stand up and leave. Thinking about this in relation to a person, I imagined a semi-transparent suit that you can also put on and take off. Maybe it can become a symbol of making yourself visible and saying “I exist” louder.
And I feel the same way. My English isn’t very fluent, so I’m a little shy and sometimes struggle to keep the conversation going. I feel a bit on sidelines.
